Ah, that makes sense. Well, I can def see why people don't enjoy the seafood taste
Hot pot is SOOO good but its so expensive too

Authentic Chinese dishes? I LOVE a good bowl of Sichuan, and niu rou Juan bing, which is a crispy scallion pancake wrapped around beef and cucumbers ITS SOO GOOD!
I also love congee, but it's hard to find a place that doesn't screw it up
If you can find a place with good xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) omygosh those are so good too!
Samlor Machu is a soup with catfish, pineapple, and lemongrass, although there are different variations
I'm not quite sure how to describe the taste, but it's like a blend of sour, sweet, and salty
And Kuy Teav is another soup! It's similar to pho but imo it's better

Rice noodles in pork broth and you can add all sorts of toppings like pork, shrimp, quail eggs, and herbs!
It's savory and slightly sweet
