Tell me your top three best groups in your opinion from each generation. If you listen to less than three from a generation it’s okay to write less. If you don’t have any from a generation that’s okay too!!
Here is mine
1st generation 1996-2002
1.SES
2nd generation 2003-2011
1.Girls generation
2.Wonder Girls
3. SHINee
3rd generation 2012-2017
1. Twice
2. Red velvet
3. EXO
4th generation 2018-2022 (This hurts)
1. Stray kids
2. Ateez
3. ITZY
5th generation (hurts too)
1. tripeS
2. Hearts2hearts
3. Rescene

I actually don’t Stan any groups before 3rd gen but I like some of their songs!

[Selfmate]

is the question
what I think the top three groups were? i.e my thoughts on the objective top groups of each gen?

OR

what my fav three groups of each gen are? ie, my subjective thoughts about my favs

For example Ateez debuted 2018, between the years 2018-2022. They are in 4th gen.

Oh, this is tough.. I'm also not good at knowing who is what generation especially when some debuted as soloists but I will give it a try:

Pre-Gen: Kim Wan-sun
1st Gen - Fin.K.L / S.E.S / Baby V.O.X | Soloist: Lee Jung Hyun / JY Park (memes aside I genuinely love his songs!)
2nd Gen - Girl's Generation / Wonder Girls / 2PM / Miss A | Soloist: Sunmi / Taeyeon
3rd Gen - Twice / Red Velvet | Soloist: Somi
4th Gen - Itzy / Nmixx / Le Sserafim / Ive / NewJeans | Soloist: Lee Chaeyeon
5th Gen - Illit

If I got some wrong you can blame google!
