It is free but lives are only for people who have the membership. So you can do anything for free and people with free accounts will also get idols to reply to them, so it isn't only for people who paid that will get attention of idols like bubble for instance. It's just when they go live through the app of FANS, you won't be able to view it until you have a membership. I am still waiting for NMIXX their new membership to happen so I can buy it. It has a timeslot of roughly a week once it is there, and once it's gone you cannot get a membership anymore till the next time which may be a year later of many months later. Since I have had FANS since last year I have not seen a membership happen yet so it happens rarely I'd say

Yeah, I'd say it is made for JYPe but I think it's a different company that technically runs it I think it's called Blue garage corp. But it only has JYPe artists so I am sure it's as good as "owned" by JYPe.

You are right, but I think Bubble is more as extra revenue for the idols. For people who are a fan of Bae I think FANS is better since you can for free show her photo's or drawings and she would react to it, and recently they also added audio clips, so they could also technically say something. While Bubble everything is anon like you cannot brag "look they replied to me" for instance lol

@Moguri here as an example I just took a screenshot of that Bae who had reacted to a fan their drawing (I used translate so people can read it since the fan is Korean). Bae does this kind of fan service on a daily basis, wishing people a goodnight, or telling them how much she loves them, or react to fans like in the screenshot.

Yeah, I also think it could put pressure on them to use it actively. But some may also just only use it when at JYPe like on the company phone. I know when they go live on YT for example they always use a phone of the company to stream on and then read chat on their personal phone.

Like I cannot remember the last time I saw Kyujin on YT doing her dance live stream and I love those

I'm a firm believer certain idols can get away with saying more things without any consequences as long as the fans have accepted its part of their personality. So if you're just open and vocal from the start like Lily, you can speak your mind with no issue.

I recently just saw Giselle lash out on fans on live, with the F word, sometimes if the fans have cross the line, idols can snap back too and the general will back them

I think after Vlive was gone, they stopped doing lives for the most part. When they stream nowadays, it's mostly short streams on either IG or Bubble, I'm not sure I ever heared of a Fans stream.
