News Apparently DPR IAN scrapped his new album and his team and he is thinking in retiring (2 Viewers)

Note: i am posting this here even tho DPR IAN is not exactly kpop. this will be a long post so bear with me

i have been pondering if i should posted this here now or wait until we have more info. it's been a few days but i am still so in shock and confused with Ian recent IG live:

This whole thing is bittersweet bc while i do think he needs to stop for a while and put himself 1st, it still hurts af

i will give a bit more context bc months before he was so excited with his new album but it seems smth happened that made him make this decision. While he didn't clarified besides being burned out, last month he deleted his IG which means he had a very severe episode where probably one of his alters took control to deal with it.
When he reactivated it, he posted this which left a lot of people intrigued bc he mentioned that they tried to replace him permanently. A lot of people thought he was just referring to his DID and an alter (and it's probably about that) but me and few others were also thinking that there was smth else here that made him have this ep.

i knew there was something wrong when his IG came back at end of last month and he had removed DPR official from his bio on both IG and twt, but i guess it's worse than we thought. Like, i just thought they had lost the lawsuit about the dpr' trademark and decided to rebrand it. i guess he's so fed up (w/ the industry and the fake people in it) and that's why he is thinking on giving up on DPR to prioritize to his mental health 😔

i can't blame him tho after being betrayed by people he once considered his friends (ofc there's more than that for him to have made that decision but still f*ck his former co-founders, Scott and Live/Dabin for making it even harder for him on top of all his mental disorders. However i also wonder if he recently found something about the said Jeff Son, investor and CEO of Regime International, that Dabin kept accusing of being a bad person. Not that i completely trust what Dabin said, not when he is basically on talks with the dude that screwed them over, but if so f*ck Jeff too. idk i just have this feeling he found out something more than caused that ep last month)

Anyway, even if he needs to prioritize his mental health i hope that he don't disappear completely. i also hope he is surrounded by people that truly care about him and is doing therapy. It scares me that in the livestream he said he needs to be alone bc if he is really going thru it rn, probably he is trying to push people away. While i dont have D.I.D and bipolar i can resonate a bit with the depression that can come from the low manic state, so i know that feeling and how self-sabotaging we can get.
It seems he even said that fans are allowed to help if he might black out (a blackout or dissociative amnesia, is a period of lost time caused by a switch between personality states/alters) while being in another country, which is terrifying. It do really looks like he's going to be totally alone without his team at his last events (in Indonesia, Korea and Mexico).

One last thing before i wrap the whole post: I am finding a bit weird no one else from the team had said anything so far.

Like, i have seen artic and cream posting about their next events on their IG so do they even know?! 🤔
i mean, i don't think ian would dismiss the team and wouldn't tell artic and cream about it but why they are not saying if dpr is gone and the events they are posting are their last events under dpr or if dpr continues but without ian or if ian is not exactly leaving dpr and is just stopping being a performer and going back to backstage (like directing) after coming back from his hiatus.

Like, i am so confused where the rest of dpr team stands in the middle of all this. It's like everyone (including ian) forgot there was other artists under dpr 🤨

But if dpr is really gone gone it's sad that is ending like this. Notice that they have separate events in different countries as their last events. Like, when ian will in mexico for the fifa event, artic and cream will be on barcelona.

Call me selfish but i wished they had a last event together 😭
Maybe they can met in Korea when ian is going for the IQOS event 🙏

He just posted a few IG stories of him rehearsing with his band (i guess for the event in mexico) so at least we know now he will not be completely by himself there.



i hope his bestie Ronald (which become part of the dpr team around the time Live left) will be with him too not only in Mexico but in the other 2 last events

It seems like he's maybe struggling to articulate exactly what he's thinking or wanting to do. I hope he can find clarity soon, and hopefully be able to share it with all of his fans. It's so hard being in limbo.

Yap. Frankly i think this " struggling to articulate" could be due his ADHD and also a bit of his bipolar (like when you are in a low manic state you tend to become quite negative but your feelings and thoughts about a situation can change when you are normal/balanced or on a high manic state)

Whatever he want to do is up to him and we don't need answers right now. i think the only clarification we need right now is what is happening with dpr bc that is business and usually they would make official statements about something like that (maybe tomorrow we will get something since he is now in korea)

who knows. maybe nothing is happening with dpr and that si why there is no official statment that is ending. like, this is a new poster and they (him and artic) are still using dpr
