I’m very well aware that when writing something informational, I really can’t help but to add commas in every sentence. Usually multiple. Sometimes 5+ commas in one sentence. I’ve noticed it for quite some time, and know that it can be annoying to readers for every sentence to be so long and drawn out, but every time I go back to try to fix it I struggle to reduce them because it just feels like those thoughts have to be connected in one sentence. Otherwise they seem clunky to me. But they don’t feel clunky when others do that, only me. It’s a struggle.

Everything. I basically copy what I see others do when I write English. Till this very day I still get confused with how some things are written. It also made me more aware due to English speaking people making remarks about my English. Like lack of a commas or periods. And then you try change your words too based on how people write, but then as you replay an older game, you see that very same spelling I always used again lol...so I don't even know anymore.

I definitely think the internet makes it more difficult, since there’s more variety in terms of dialects and types of texts. Theres definitely many pros of the internet, but it definitely results in less standardization of language online.

my use of lol at the end of every sentence. I've been told multiple times (and even once on here) that it's very annoying. But it's not like I laugh at everything, right???

Maybe try a colon (:) or a semi-colon (;) to spice things up? I would recommend using dashes (-) but ChatGPT ruined that for us all.

I keep a checklist for myself now because I need to learn to show instead of tell.
And also to write with all 5 senses if applicable.
