Title. I left a comment on the name on one of those name sites, Behind the Name, saying it sounded too much like "hate you" and therefore I didn't like it, but it got downvoted like really quick, and I deleted it before the vote score could go down any further. Is there a problem with what I said, or are people there just being mean?

Nothing at all wrong with what you said. I’ve had name comments downvoted before. Some people are just nitpicks. I can remember saying I hated the name Cletus because it sounded like fetus. It’s just my opinion. Don’t let it get to you.
