part of me is like NOOOOOOOO NOT HIS ACL!!! I actually needed to do research on ACL tears for a fanfic I'm writing (NBK 2 - iykyk), and it looks like he'll be down for the count for weeks or months... my poor baby! I hope Pledis allows him to rest for that time, though. oh, what will become of SVT without one of their best dancers??? (sorry for the random jumble of thoughts, my mind is racing just thinking about this.)

but the other part of me wants to celebrate bc wouldn't this make him exempt from military duties???

It's not really something to celebrate. There's a chance he will be discharged early but he's still waiting on surgery and recovery.
S.Coups had the same injury that exempt him completely and while it has been enough time since he got back on stage, there's always concert footage of his knee hurting. Hoshi's recovery process could be different but he's still gonna have to be careful. This is the guy that would dance til his lips turned blue.
