It does, you notice it especially during those online fan meets. People wonder sometimes why their faves look so different. Those cameras are usually for like vlogging so they're meant to be at arms length so they use a wider lens to capture more of the background but idols don't know so on these online fan meets they get all close thinking it'll make the fan feel the they're really close but the drawback is they look much chubbier

Yeah but also many idols are healthy weight and the camera then make it look oompa loompa like the video on this tweet but the lens here is real wide, almost fish eye I think so irs an extreme example
