Former BIGBANG member Seungri has now confirmed the ongoing rumors of his marriage, and his wife's current pregnancy.



After multiple reports of Seungri's rumored marriage and wife's pregnancy, Seungri himself has come forward to address the rumors. On October 28, Seungri spoke with Ilgan Sports to confirm that he is married and expecting a child soon.



He stated, "Since this is a private matter, it's a bit burdensome to go into details. My wife and I are legally married, and the claims that we got married due to her pregnancy are not true."



Seungri also addressed the rumors that he and his wife were planning to hold their wedding after the birth of their child. He clarified, "At this time, we are not considering holding a wedding ceremony."



Seungri reflected on his past as he alluded to the upcoming birth of his child, which is expected to occur in January of 2027:



"Now that I am taking on the responsibility of a family, I feel an even greater weight of accountability. I deeply reflect on the disappointment and harm I caused through my past mistakes, and I intend to show a changed version of myself through living a quiet, sincere life."



Finally, Seungri asked that the public refrain from directing excessive speculation or negativity towards his family, as they are not public figures.\
