Some of you might've already heard of PLT, some probably have no idea who they are.
The reason they aren't your casual BG is because they actually aren't a BG at all! How does that happen you wonder?
Well first and foremost all 5 members of the group are primary Soloists and together they form PLT, short for Planetarium which is the name of their company as well, Planetarium Records.
All 5 of them create their own music most of the time, be it actually on their own, each member individually or with help from the other 4.
The 5 members are Gaho, Villain, Moti, June and Jung Jinwoo. However you might notice later that there is a guy called Kei.G as well, he's as I would explain kind of like the "father" of the group, he helps produces music as well and apart from those two Cases and his solo stuff he hasn't been involved with PLT at all.
They are also part of a "crew" called AlphaDict, but that's a whole other story.
If I were to give them roles like one does for a Group it would look as follow
Main Vocals:
Gaho, Jung Jinwoo, Villain, June
Main Rappers:
Moti, Villain
They don't really have any choreographies, which is why there isn't any Main Dancer role.
While each of them have a solid solo career going, for their PLANETARIUM CASE #1 & #2 they released their first tracks together as "PLT". Sort of like the title of the album, just how normal Groups release a title that represent the album.
However with PLT, the b-sides of said albums aren't group songs, most of them are solo songs with some of them featuring on another track while carrying their own solo songs in it as well.
As you can tell, if you have listened to some of those songs, there's a HUGE variety of styles and genres which makes them so awesome because you kinda have "everything".
And not only for their group stuff but also for their solo stuff.
June has incredibly chill and easy to listen to songs, with his softer vocals it's just really good to listen to after a stressful day.
Moti on the other side creates more hip-hop, full on rap music.
Gaho is more on the ballad side of things, beautiful, emotional, god-given vocals.
Villain can rap amazingly but also slay with his vocals which is why he gives both of them their time to shine and has different style of sing and rap songs.
Jung Jinwoo is a really powerful singer as well, he's kind of the mix from Gaho and June.
