I’ve learned that people feel more connected to one another through pain and suffering than through happiness. It's more familiar and easier to define. Happiness though is vague and you’ll find more people who relate to what makes you sad than to what makes you happy. Also, I just woke up so I’m just typing whatever comes to mind :pepecheer:

honestly depends on a situation. if another person writes something important, they are feeling down, depressed, crying, want an advice,,, in that case if you leave on read = r00d
but if it's just a casual convo going on and you:
a) have no clue how to respond
or
b) you have to urgently go somewhere, you're in a rush
or
c) you just have nothing else to say + the convo is "falling apart" then it's 0kay to leave on read

in the middle of a conversation or if that person is asking about something then probably yes but in general i wouldn't say it's rude, sometimes i really got nothing to say and silence is golden after all so if a friend of mine is talking about a situation i'm not involved in then i'd rather just read whatever they want to say than give an opinion no one asked for
