Final Top 100 of 2018 (1 Viewer)

Month Summary:
Honestly, I wasn't expecting this year to be so great in all honesty, I thought 2017 was a mediocre year and I wound up having so many issues that I was scared I wouldn't even reach 100 by the end of the year. I do know that that is an unpopular opinion and for some reason, people think 2017 was better music wise but not for me. I had so many songs that I got addicted to and on top of it two of my favorite groups came back and released fantastic albums that really sold this year for me, I enjoyed a lot of groups I didn't think I would as well. Overall, it's a great year and I wasn't expecting to like so many guy group songs given that last year it was a girl group year for me but not this year. I'm so happy with how this year went and I think Jonghyun also gifted us a beautiful last song. That song I think set this year up to be a great one. Thanks Jonghyun, and I hope you guys enjoy the list <3

Spoiler: My Rules

I order songs based off of how many times I listen to them, so yes I keep track. I can only post songs that have been released in the year 2018 but not all songs from 2018 make it onto this list. Only songs I enjoy or like wind up on here. That being said if I later on find a song I enjoyed but didn't see earlier in the year or did not enjoy earlier in the year I'm free to add it in even if its been months since it was released-as long as it came out in 2018.

If a song drops off the list it is not counted in my statistics.

Now instead of doing the usual asking you guys questions things I thought I would give you fun facts that contradict what my list says-I make the list based on objective material which is the amount I listen to the songs without trying so of course there are some songs on this list I don't like and placements I myself don't necessarily agree with my list order so I'm going to put out some of the things I don't agree with-also timing does affect the list as well OR they are just opinions I had overall.

• Naughty Boy is better than Shine
• Baam is better than Bboom Bboom
• Turn It On by Laboum was a bop but I found that out too late
• MAMAMOO's song No More Drama would be way higher if it came out earlier
• This was one of TWICE's worst years music wise
• EXO & Infinite dropped the best albums of 2018
• I hate Rollercoaster by Chungha and can no longer listen to it
• Bad Boy is one of Red Velvet's worst songs in my opinion and I can't believe I put it on here
• ATEEZ and LOONA were one of the best group debuts this year
• Halo & ACE deserve better same with KHAN
• Baby Don't Stop should be way higher
• All of SHINee's songs should be higher
• Twilight by Oh My Girl should be higher
• HYO is a guilty pleasure singer for me because most of her music is trash but I still bop to that shit
• Gfriend surprised me this year and I'm so happy
• She's in the Rain & 5tar are two of the best songs released this year

• Naughty Boy is better than Shine - agreed
• Baam is better than Bboom Bboom - both aren't good :eyes:
• Turn It On by Laboum was a bop but I found that out too late - same, it's such a bop
• MAMAMOO's song No More Drama would be way higher if it came out earlier - i don't even remember how it goes
• This was one of TWICE's worst years music wise - agreed
• EXO & Infinite dropped the best albums of 2018 - as much as I still like EXO, the wait wasn't worth it for me at the end, but glad you like it so much after waiting so long, that's what counts the most!
• I hate Rollercoaster by Chungha and can no longer listen to it - oof
• Bad Boy is one of Red Velvet's worst songs in my opinion and I can't believe I put it on here - :eyes:
• ATEEZ and LOONA were one of the best group debuts this year - ATEEZ was so damn good, anticipate January comeback
• Halo & ACE deserve better same with KHAN - the truth, but with Dino in military right now and Jaeyong focusing more on acting i kinda see a black hole with them q.q
• Baby Don't Stop should be way higher - *shrugs*
• All of SHINee's songs should be higher - Drive was probably their best release last year
• Twilight by Oh My Girl should be higher - issa bop
• HYO is a guilty pleasure singer for me because most of her music is trash but I still bop to that shit - i dont really care much for her but she has some bops imo
• Gfriend surprised me this year and I'm so happy - they were still meh to me, Oh My Girl, April, Dreamcatcher and Dreamnote took the GG crown for me
• She's in the Rain & 5tar are two of the best songs released this year - 5TAR is amazing, but I think I prefer Take Me Down rather than She's in the Rain from the album of The Rose
