The one problem with online friends (2 Viewers)

Something could happen to them and you might never know. I've been trying to reconnect with old online friends from on here or from other forum sites and some of them have just,, disappeared. No signs. How will we ever know what happened? Did those people just forget about those sites? Lose interest? Or did something happen to them that prevents them from going online. You can just never know. For example, my friend mylovelyone's situation. If something had escalated more before he was able to tell everyone what was going on,, he might have just disappeared and we nobody would have known anything of what happened.

One of my closest friends from these past few years just kind of disappeared too. She went on a supposed one month hiatus and never returned. No traces.

You really do just tend to underestimate how nice it can be to know somebody irl. It's harder for people to just disappear that way.

Another thing about the people online who vanish without traces,, after a certain amount of time the majority of people will just give up on trying to contact them. Those people will just fade as people one after another give up on finding what happened to them. It's rather cruel.

I guess thats what I worry about most. We are all people, and could die any time. I can't help but worry that that could have happened to any of my old friends who aren't around anymore. And it especially hurts to know that I could never know about them. I can barely ever find them again.

I always have this fear too. I am thinking to one of my dearest friends in the other site. She was online everyday and very active and once she forgot to tell me that she would be busy with her exams. I was so worried for two weeks so I can’t imagine for months or years.

I miss my og wifue Lighter TT she's kinda active on discord tho! And I've been trying to contact Joshuaology for forever,, I've got no idea :'))) all of my Carat gang is gone
