Kang Daniel's fans donate 10,000 copies of his solo debut album to Korean Red Cross

Kang Daniel's fans have donated 10,000 copies of his solo debut album to the Busan Blood Bank of the Korean Red Cross.

On August 6, the Busan Blood Bank revealed the former Wanna One member's fans donated 10,000 copies of 'Color on Me', which amounts to 180 million Won ($148,123.80 USD), to encourage people to donate their blood. The donation commemorates Kang Daniel's solo debut album, and they were given to the Korean Red Cross under his name.

The Busan Blood Bank stated, "We're always lacking in blood, so we thank Kang Daniel's fans for the warm love. We hope their mature fandom culture continues into the future." The donated albums will be given to those who donate their blood to the Korean Red Cross chapter in Busan, where Kang Daniel acts as a city ambassador.

In other news, Kang Daniel debuted with "What Are You Up To", and he and TWICE's Jihyo were confirmed to be dating.

Be nice to have a group of fans that could take the high road and remember idols are not property and did not sign a celibacy agreement. Yeah we are an idols bread and butter and without us they can't take home the bacon. But you know we can do somethign sweet to reward them like letting them be happy and let them find a way to distress which doesn't turn into anything bad.

I am a fan of Daniel as well and I think his fans were really sweet in donating the albums.

I think it's sweet to. I just replied because I am not a fan and I see people cursing him. So I couldn't help but to wonder to and not a joke just didn't want to be the one to ask it. I think if it was done after it would be especially sweet. But either way it's a really nice move on fans end.

I follow his dcinside gallery (basically a fansite) account on Twitter and there's no mention of it so it was done without any kind of annoucement from their side and thus I can't track down the specific date, so it could have been done before or after. Anyways, this isn't the first time they've donated.

It's supposed to say for educational organizations but his Koreans fans really are donation fairies, always see them donating.. ;;;;
