I am surprised everyone is so nice. I haven't met one rude person and I have not seen any bad comment from all the threads I have read.
Why?

This is definitely it. When enough people are friendly and kind, everyone else follows suit

Even larger fandoms that are "notoriously toxic" have such nice fans here. I'm really happy for it.

Most of the users came here after growing fed up of the toxic environment on other websites. We wanted a community where we could freely appreciate our faves, and also give constructive criticism without resorting to petty insults.
