Not only Blackpink, TWICE and BTS as well
The thing is: people can claim copyright on every YouTube video and fighting it is hard and costs a lot of money
This means the fall of YouTube.
JYP, SM and BigHit are working on a platform for a while now. 2 of them are the victim. SM has really strong connections in the IT world as well as the robotics world and other tech stuff. It won't take them a while until they set up their own YouTube

Quite crazy stuff, usually nothing happens for those who make these copyright claims even if they are false. Copyright claims pretty much hurt only those who have their videos claimed, they lose views and revenue, they have to try to fix it and even if they go against the claim it's up to copyright claimer to decide if they take the claim off or not. Only way to fight against false claimers is going court or at least threaten to go to court.

I can't fanthom how they could have decided to copyright claim these mv's though, it's not obviously theirs and all these companies have enough power and money to sue them. Maybe it was technical mistake, some kind of algorithm?

I hope there is still some consequences to Aiplex Software, it seems like they have done this previously too even in extent of some youtube channels being taken down. Apparently the company really likes making false claims, this time they just picked fight with too strong opponents (and their rabid fanbases). But lot of smaller channels that get fake copyrighted aren't as lucky, without people making uproar about it they can't get the copyright claims removed and might even lose channels. Youtube really needs to ban companies copyright claiming that make these false claims.

Oh found this funny thing about Aiplex: "Aiplex is a global contender against content theft irrespective of the type of content on the online space. Our service does not limit itself to detection & eradication of infringements, it also incorporates traffic diversion and monetization capabilities for the content. As online antipiracy domain experts, we capitalize on our unique competence in combating the menace of copyright theft by safeguarding our clients brand value, reputation & revenues "

Lol, the company claims to work against "menace of copyright theft" and pretty much commits copyright thefts themselves. What a BS.
