It has been VERY weak.
2018 - All of the top ggs came back
2017 - Wanna One, Sunmi, Blackpink, Apink, RV
2016 - BTS, Sistar, Apink
2015 - Sistar, SNSD, Shinee, Apink

The best thing we've gotten for a summer comeback was Icy and even though I like it, it's not it. Imo SM needs to get their shit together bcuz RV could've been the new summer queens. Ig they're going to have to do something now that they're going bankrupt so anticipate Reve Festival pt 2!

Also on a serious note I've been loving underrated and rookie groups comebacks and debuts,that tends to be the case every year but this year especially is on another level. I've never fallen for a rookie group as quickly as Oneus or been super into ggs debut songs like Hot Place and Dalla Dalla. SF9 delivered as always, Stray Kids have been amazing, and ACE released their best song yet. My bias groups haven't been super active to be honest, but other groups have been more than filling my desires. A lot of groups who's songs ive never been into are catching my attention which is seriously awesome, I love expanding my horizons and listening to a variety of groups

To be honest, kpop releases have been a hit or miss for me this year. Quite a few comebacks have been disappointing to me.
Sometimes a break from kpop is good if you’re getting bored with it. If I ever need a break from it I just listen to different music genres until I feel like getting back into it.

It's not like regular pop is any better 😩. Also I've been on my break since April, rn I'm in my J-pop stan mode.
