Before it was just Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rose

we had a 9 member group rumored to be called Pink Punk.

BLACKPINK's Original Lineup: 9 Members with Outstanding Talents?

The debut plans YG Entertainment originally had for BLACKPINK cannot be more different from the final result.

Do you like the idea of a 9 member group by YG and produced by Teddy?

Pink Punk was marketed for a good 3 years before BlackPink's debut in 2016. All my 2nd gen fans would know how much media play YG gave Pink Punk lol. We were all shocked that it was only a 4 member group when BlackPink was announced.

And yeah I wouldn't have minded a 9 member group. The more, the merrier. But I think BP are good the way they are now.

I love large groups but I also love Blackpink because all the girls are able to shine and show theirs individualities.

Tho I love many larger groups, I personally prefer smaller groups so I'm happy they ended up on 4

I can only imagine how he would mess their line distribution

I can't imagine Euna Kim or Miyeon in Blackpink tbh.
