I was mainly a lurker during that time when you became a mod, but i remember some threads between exol & army. Must have been swarmed with reports during that time, we only have like 20 reports per day to move threads or delete accidental posts.

It did change a lot from day to day, sometimes you had reports coming faster than you could solve sometimes it was quieter. Just closing threads and mass deleting posts helped a lot. And half of the reports probably came from BT anyways.. So if you ever feel like mods could do with some more work just put BT up Or invite spam bots, cleaning up beauty product and homework threads from ad bots was always fun on spare time. Not that i had lot of that, i did moderate pretty much whenever i could, when i woke up, on bus, at quieter lessons, breaks at work, when going to sleep..

Yeah i've discussed & considered it at one point during the start, if we had the bt up, it would probably change the whole environment of ks as it would attract negative types of people that some of us are avoiding.

Edit - Though that makes us less appealing to users & make us feel empty at times, i am thankful the forum content in general is mostly positive, even when some trolls visit they will give up after a few tries.

It's popular attraction, but it did bring lot of endless trouble that led into us trying a lot of rule changes etc. so it's not probably worth the trouble. And likely wouldn't fit the current KS community anyways, don't see lot of plp missing it.

Fun fact, when I started going to AKP in 2012 there was no BT, instead all the bashing threads and posts just went to regular forum and there wasn't rules against bashing it was pretty much wild west out there. I'm sure some preferred it that way, but it was pretty notorious for it too.

I joined AKP around the end of 2013 and have been active for all those years. I even managed to stick despite all the drama that caused users to leave left and right, including most of my friends. I only left AKP at the beginning of this year when I decided to make KS my only forum. So I have been active on forums for about 6 years now.

BT is genius and at the same time so pointless

Why not make something like a chan already if it's to make the BT the main attraction

Just redirect the trolls there and pretend the site is not related to the chan anyway

Isn't like that that stuff like naver comments exist.

Kpop was a side hobby until 2017/early 2018. I used to be on anime or wrestling forums, and only watched Kpop videos and reactions on YouTube. Sometimes I lurked on AKP and OH but I only joined in Feb 2018 on AKP. Exactly on my one year anniversary, the site crashed and then the drama happened which led to the mass exodus.
I had already joined here in November 2018 but became active after February 2019 basically.

I joined akp in 2018 some time (not gonna check rn) n also registered on OH but mostly lurked there (both) while posting some little until akp crashed for awhile in feb 2019, then it revived for awhile n I saw a post there abt KS.
I joined here n mostly lurk here now, while posting a little n hey, I even got called to be OP of an artist thread. I can't quite believe it myself but I still lurk a lot while posting to a few threads.
I'm amazed myself when I realise I'm actually acting as the OP. With great responsibilty comes great corruptibilty. Bwahaha. Smh it's not very viewed much thread afaict, less stressful at least. (Mixed up the solo thread n the gg thread but I don't think I cannot handle OP-ing more threads, tbh: I seem to be at the max already.)
