I feel bad for the groups that never go popular (1 Viewer)

Whenever i see a group with a very small fan-base i get sad.

Like these idols went through so much just to not make it to the top groups. They went through all of the MV recording and never got praise for it.

I just get sad whenever i see a group like that. The idols went through YEARS of training. And i just wish that they could get bigger.



Do you ever feel sad about this? Maybe not sad but at least feel bad or upset for the group? Let me know what you think!

Depends how small we are talking like there is a difference in a group being like Cosmic Girls who haven't broken out but do well for themselves and seeing an MV of a group which has been out for a while and doesn't even have 100k views which that usually does make me sad

Yeah a lot of the times underrated groups are just less popular groups. As much as I love Dreamcatcher, they’re not that underrated.
They’re primarily a touring group and they’re doing pretty well

Ah... It's just how life is.

Korea music scene is very competitive.
I feel glad enough when the members find some way to survive and do what they like, while staying healthy and having some dignity.

Which sadly its not always the case :(

it's sad yeah. Choosing to risk it all, possibly in some way lose many years you could have spent getting educated or having a job and making money, often worrying your family and going against their wishes, living while trying in vain every day.. but I like to think that these people do it because it's their dream and that even if they are not "successful", they won't regret it because they were true to themselves and followed their hearts.. I hope that at the end of their unrecognized and short careers, they can find satisfaction and pride in that because I truly believe they should

Yes all the time especially since I tend to stan em if they are really good which a lot of them actually are but just don't get peoples attention for a plethora of reasons, either the company being small... people not wanting to even give a chance is actually smn that really annoys me... It's a persons right not to want to ofc but I still think chances should be given

Of course I feel bad for these groups. But at the same time I'm pretty sure they know the situation they are in. I bet even their company tells them ahead of time that they have a very small chance at success because of the competition and because of the big 3 influence.

I’ve yet to see an underrated group with a member pretty enough to warrant stanning tho

It'a definitely sad & unfortunate but what can we do? The Kpop industry is very competitive.
