During the investigation into Sulli’s passing, police managed to find a journal with her Day to Day feelings. She did not Once mention about the malicious comments in it. However netcitizens are quick to jump on who they thought wronged her. Even Choiza was not safe from this witch hunters . (Sulli's ex-boyfriend Choiza flooded with negative comments on social media after her passing).
Frankly I find it funny that these are the people who are blaming Sulli’s death on hate comments, are actually leaving hate comments for others. People are so quick to jump to conclusions.
Yes the hate comments might of play a major part in her suicide....but It was Sulli final decision. It hurts to know this could of been different, but we can not change the past. I blame the lack of knowledge of mental illness in Korea. I blame the lack of funding of mental illness in South Korea . Sulli needed help but she was never properly treated. To me it seemed she was tired of everything, like there was nothing more to fight for. Her plan to take her own life seemed sudden and unplanned.
Those with clinical depression or bipolar, how does it feel win you miss just one pill?
I support the “Sulli Act” 1000% but there will always be trolls. Just when you think you squash one, 10 more come your way. Korea please open your eyes to mental illness...
