So why not have at least 2 previous winners in the same show? Also, if a group who is not well known goes on on the show with the likes of Gfriend and Mamamoo, then that could really help them.

While I could see Gfriend and Mamamoo being on the same show working, Mnet couldn't have them both win so they probably wouldn't do it from that angle and the other aspect is the worrying Buddies vs Moomoos part that could come from having 2 of the biggest fandoms on a competitive show.

Well, maybe they could find a way where the show is not really competing against other groups, but competitive in the fact that you try to beat your previous performance or whatever.
Then they can be graded on who did a better performance than their previous performance the most lol

It could be possible with adjustments to the show which it seems they are making but have to see what those adjustments are since it is Mnet we are talking about

I wouldn't be that big into a male version either since i'm a girl group stan but ofc there are people who would eat it up. I do think that Mnet could turn it into a cutthroat competition though if they made a lineup out of rookies versus having established groups like Mamamoo who don't need to worry.

I would be one of those people.

I would personally love a male version. I think I would be a lot more interested in watching it as well. I love both bgs and ggs but I tend to feel more attached to male survival/reality shows than female ones.

IOI barely got 6 months and we had Sejeong and Mina off promoting with Gugudan causing them to miss Whatta Man Wanna One was a lot more polished management wise.
On one hand, male groups get bigger viewership so I can understand lol. But I won't be into it coz they just don't seem as interesting as female interactions or performances to me

Well less people would tune in to a male show off the bat because the public aren't usually interested so it makes sense to reel them in first but I think Wanna One would have got shafted just the same if it was the other round just because it was the 1st.

Girl’s Day are not officially disbanded but it’s like they were. The rest of the line-up would be logical. Gfriend would be the favorite just like Mamamoo.

Only problem I can see with that lineup is that Sunmi and Gfriend would be the only known ones there to Kfans while the others are popular internationally but with the lineup Mnet had even if you weren't familiar with some of the groups you knew all of them.

Why would that be a problem? Queendom would be a perfect show to introduce these groups.

That Mnet is unlikely to put together a show like that, I could see them using 1 or 2 in a show and Dreamcatcher being one they could pick up but all 4? Not something I could see them doing.

So, not Everglow or CLC? Plus CLC is in the same agency as (G)I-dle who has already been in the first Queendom, so I could see CLC in there.
