How's everyone enjoying Disney+ . Is it everything you hoped for?
I was thinking sth like getting it for a month to binge stuff and then let it go as well, don't see point keeping it up.i think i'll keep it for a month to watch my fave movies again. but i don't think it's worth it. i doubt their originals are gonna be as good as netflix's. so there's no incentive to keep renewing subscription.
it annoys me that all these companies are starting their own platforms. they're just going to make streaming the new cable and make it so people have to spend more and more money with less convenience. i hope disney appreciates the piracy rates since they just had to remove all their movies from netflix. netflix was so successful bc ppl realized paying $10~14 was better than pirating. but needing to get several platforms now with that same price point? no thanks.
if netflix took that option away i would cancel my subscription right then and there. the disney one has a week free trial so a week and a month is pretty much all you'd need. most of the stuff on there is for kids anywayI was thinking sth like getting it for a month to binge stuff and then let it go as well, don't see point keeping it up.
Netflix has been bit annoying too lately, they were talking how people were misusing the system cause they share passwords. Like no kidding, if u have service that let's 4 people use the account same time ofc people are going to use that by sharing passwords.![]()
Yep, they have been saying that it's only for people who are in same household, but that will be quite hard to determine too when people move around and have devices that are mobile as well.if netflix took that option away i would cancel my subscription right then and there. the disney one has a week free trial so a week and a month is pretty much all you'd need. most of the stuff on there is for kids anyway
do they really ugh. i have disney+ on four different devices tho. i haven't tried streaming outside my place tho. if that is the case makes it easier to delete lool. netflix better not do it. i think they'll lose a lot of ppl. their quality is already going down with so many companies taking back their content.Yep, they have been saying that it's only for people who are in same household, but that will be quite hard to determine too when people move around and have devices that are mobile as well.
Netflix account that I currently use is my fathers actually, but the reason why he bought it and the 4 users option was so that me and my sister could use it as well. So if they want to limit it somehow that would take reason from him to pay for that service. But this technically isn't okay according to Netflix cause we don't live in same house, most of time at least. So family account to them means different thing than to us as customers..
Disney+ actually has some kind software that prevents from sharing account, but I have no idea how it works. I guess Netflix is looking for sth similar. So if that happens I guess I have to see if I will be blocked out and if I will then just eventually get Netflix account of my own.. but probably I won't![]()
Lot of these streaming services actually had this panel where they talked of ways to prevent people sharing passwords and there was some different solutions like using finger prints etc, but all of them do have some issues too that could be inconvenience to users and end up them losing customers. I guess i have to see what Netflix decides to do for that. I get them wanting to prevent people for sharing their passwords to dozen people, but it'll be hard to prevent them for sharing it to family members or couple friends.do they really ugh. i have disney+ on four different devices tho. i haven't tried streaming outside my place tho. if that is the case makes it easier to delete lool. netflix better not do it. i think they'll lose a lot of ppl. their quality is already going down with so many companies taking back their content.
also you'd definitely be better off looking somewhere else for shows![]()
Isn't it already launched in Australia? I thought the launch countries were NZ, AUS, USA, Netherlands and Canada...I've always liked Disney. But in terms of it going to Australia. Haven't been really paying attention to it.
I would watch it when it hits finally however.
Like I've never grown out of that disney mindset and have always loved what they do.
oh that makes sense why disney+ doesn't work on all devices. damn these companies are gross. most people just share it with a couple of friends who will just turn to torrents if they lose netflix. it doesn't seem like a problem worth fixing idk.Lot of these streaming services actually had this panel where they talked of ways to prevent people sharing passwords and there was some different solutions like using finger prints etc, but all of them do have some issues too that could be inconvenience to users and end up them losing customers. Oh on my mums birthday. Isn't that something :) (that was unexpected)Isn't it already launched in Australia? I thought the launch countries were NZ, AUS, USA, Netherlands and Canada...
EDIT: You get it on the 19th of November!
Apparently it will come here in spring, but no certain date yet. I'm more worried about the content they will have here, since Netflix has been rly annoying with it. Good Place S3 came out two years ago, but we still don't have it in Finland's Netflix. So I'm bit curious if Disney + will have lot less shows and movies here than in USA and how much the price will be. It doesnt' feel fair to be paying more for less, but I guess that can't be helpedThere is no Disney+ in my country yet! I wish i had a vpn account to see it but i'll just have yo wait...
