As we all know what happened with the members of TRCNG, unfortunately, they weren't the first to be mistreated and probably won't be the last, unless they go bankrupt or there is a heavy investigation against them.
TS Entertainment has had quite a few legal actions taken against them, which you can see below:

Legal issues
B.A.P's lawsuit
On November 27, 2014 the six members of B.A.P collectively filed a lawsuit against TS Entertainment in order to nullify their contracts, claiming unfair conditions and profit distribution. The following day, TS Entertainment issued a press release refuting the claims made, stating that "there have been neither such maltreatments to the artists nor unfair clauses in the contract". On August 1, 2015, B.A.P. returned to TS Entertainment as both parties reached a settlement.

Jieun and Hyoseong's lawsuit
On February 28, 2018, It was reported that Jieun and Hyoseong had legal disputes, by on 2017, Jieun submitted the request for the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board, following this, Jieun results announced her departure from Secret and the company, so she took her post from her via Instagram.

On March 5, Hyoseong was first to file a civil lawsuit, in order to terminate from her contract and her company, later she also announced her departure from Secret, and for this the agency had sent to Jun Hyoseong, the contract of the company will be valid to the ends of terms, following to the departures of TS Entertainment, effectively ending Secret.

Sleepy's lawsuit
On September 14, 2019, it was revealed that Sleepy of Untouchable had filed a lawsuit to terminate his contract with TS Entertainment, citing lack of trust after they refused to show him payment documents and a physical copy of his contract. Sleepy also said that he did not receive any payment for his activities until 10 years after his contract was signed. TS later denied these statements, saying all of Sleepy's claims were "false" and that he embezzled funds from the company, which Sleepy denied. The next day, it was announced TS Entertainment was forwarded to prosecution for overdue payments of artists.

Sumin and Nahyun's lawsuits
On September 23, 2019, it was announced that Sumin and Nahyun of Sonamoo were filing a lawsuit against TS Entertainment to terminate their contracts after the company failed to end their contracts following the two sending TS Entertainment certifications of content back in May. TS Entertainment released a statement on the same day, claiming that the two members suddenly "cut contact" with the company and group after the documents were sent. The statement also announced Sonamoo would continue as a five-member group.

Wooyeop and Taeseon's lawsuit
On November 4, 2019, TRCNG members Wooyeop and Taeseon sent a certification of contents to terminate their contracts with TS Entertainment while also filing a criminal complaint against the company, accusing company executives and employees of child abuse, criminal battery, and extortion. They alleged that they were forced to practice choreography from 5pm until 5am, only to have to work again at 10am. While under the age of 18, they allegedly were forced to live in a dorm with no proper meals being provided with the dorm also allegedly having problems with electricity often being cut out and broken air conditioners, plumbing and water purifying systems. Wooyeop also alleged that he was once beaten using a metal chair by Yoon, the head of TRCNG's choreography team. Taeseon also alleged that he was regularly beaten from the moment he became a trainee.


I'm really hoping that something is done so that they won't be able to recruit anymore trainees as it will keep happening if they do.

Wooyeop’s mother went on to say, “It’s a clear fact that Wooyeop was assaulted by choreography director Yoon. However, he has never once received an apology about it.” She described how even though Wooyeop had been lying in the hospital in a semi-unconscious state, a TS Entertainment manager came to the hospital and immediately asked the doctor in a doubtful tone if Wooyeop had really ended up in this condition because he had been hit, which caused the doctor to become angry.

TS Entertainment Files Lawsuit Against Jun Hyosung Claiming 1 Billion Won In Damages

TS Entertainment has filed a counterclaim against Jun Hyosung.

Previously, Jun Hyosung had filed a civil lawsuit against TS Entertainment in September 2017, but the agency denied all claims of issues regarding payment. In October 2018, Jun Hyosung signed with Tommy & Partners Entertainment, and in November of the same year, the court ruled in favor of Jun Hyosung. However, TS Entertainment revealed plans to appeal following the court ruling, and they filed a lawsuit on May 7 requesting 1 billion won (approximately $848,800) for damages.

The Seoul High Court’s 7th Civil Affairs Department postponed the second trial on the dispute regarding the exclusive contract between Jun Hyosung and TS Entertainment from May 10 to May 31. On May 10, TS Entertainment claimed, “Our opinion is exactly as it is written in the appeal. We confirm that Jun Hyosung’s exclusive contract is no longer valid, and we accept Jun Hyosung’s request, but we will ask her to take responsibility for the violations during the contract term.”

On the reason for calculating 1 billion won (approximately $848,800) for damage claims, TS said, “Since Jun Hyosung turned down commercials, the company lost at least 1.4 billion won (approximately $1.2 million) in ad revenue from May to August of 2017, and along with turning down events, drama, casting, and more, this is a part of the massive damage suffered through the slowdown strike.” Furthermore, the company claimed that Jun Hyosung embezzled profits from conducting ads on social media without consulting the company nor discussing distribution of profits. They claimed that Jun Hyosung received a large amount in advance for her exclusive contract in order to purchase an apartment, and after only a few months, she requested a termination of contract from the past CEO of TS Entertainment. TS Entertainment claimed that this was deliberate slowdown of work because as soon as they asked her to complete the settlement, she responded sensitively to all work related to TS, including the consultation about modeling for the ad.

After signing with Tommy & Partners Entertainment, Jun Hyosung has currently resumed her activities.

That seems to be the story with these companies, they have the artists to be big but ruin themselves, Cube, Starship, MBK, Pledis, TS and the list goes on.
