JJY, Jonghyun and Seungri where all close friends that all hung quite a bit. There is zero chance that Seungri had no clue what was going on. I do believe that Seungri was at least that smart not to record anything or leave a trail when it came to misadventures... ... The choking scandal aside. In that light if he knew, and was actually troubled by JJY and Jonghyun's behavior, why the fudge didn't he act sooner? IMHO Seungri knew, didn't care, and at minimual asked the guys not to include him

Yeah this is basically where I stand too. He definitely was in the know and did nothing to discourage or stop his friends, so even if he didn't participate directly, it's impossible to buy him being clueless.

If I remember right he knew about some of those, i think about molkas but not about rapes necessarily, and he asked or warned them to stop. This is based on what Seungri himself told in a interview, here is the part: "I told Jung Joon-Young to stop doing things like [taking hidden camera videos], he could get in big trouble. I don't think that makes him legally responsible, but it's still quite shady morally. I mean he knew, but only asked them to stop, didn't try to stop in them other ways and let them continue.

I don't know much about how involved he was, how much he knew and participated in, but this much I know. No way is he completely innocent. Him being a main target for articles and face of the issue because he's a member of Big Bang? Plausible.

So it is rly hard to get non-biased information about whole thing right now cause it's covered mostly by his fans and then haters instead of any neutral party or someone even trying to stay neutral.

Now the news outlets definitely used Seungri and painted him as the main guy since the start, because he's in Big Bang. This was the way to get most clicks to articles. That doesn't mean he is innocent, but it does mean that he got most of the heat and heat from things that other people did not him and that guy speaks of some of those instances and extra stuff like the Halloween costume and GD's song lyrics that were just speculation.

But he doesn't rly cover all the points like the Katalks and such. One of biggest still is that they confirmed that the Katalk messages about prostitution were legit messages sent by Seungri. I'm not sure if they are unable to prove that these were indeed talking about prostitution and not sth else though, I mean in face of justice system. The information flow has kinda stopped since summer too so there is not much translated information to go through either. I mean apart from gambling accusations and who even cares about those and Korea's screwed up system about gambling.

I don't believe nth criminal went on in Burning sun, they had so many people arrested and accused of prostitution, secret filming and selling and using drugs. What was Seungri's part in that I don't know. In terms of Seungri and prostitution the Katalks are still pretty damning, but i just don't think police has found other evidence than those or at least hard evidence? In other hand what isn't criminal, but still rly wrong morally for me is that Seungri knew about his friend group being mixed with secret filming, but he kept hanging out with these guys and inviting them to parties. One of the women was raped in Seungri's party by one of guy in this friend group.

What happens in Gangnam is way bigger than Seungri.

We'll probably never know the whole story though, since even the chief of national police was involved.
