Damn, the people at SME can be really petty and vengeful.

They definitely value control over idols, that's why they had those long-ass contracts, keep getting sued by their own artists and then try to do everything to prevent artist who dare to leave have careers.

It might have been MBK I don't quite remember but one of kpop companies proposed as well that artist who left and sued their companies should be made example by all other entertainment companies. Like there is just this company vs artists mentality that goes on, they want treat idols like products instead of artists who have partial ownership to what they are part of.
