.. Of the things and people you've missed? Maybe yesterday on the street, you passed by the person you would have loved the most, but you won't ever see them again, never gonna know their favorite color or kiss away their tears... Maybe right now, you'd be much happier if you had made an entirely different choice on that day... Of course, it's useless thinking this way since life is filled with infinite possible scenarios amd you can never really know, but this just somehow crossed my mind and it's interesting to think about... 😅

when i have nothing to do and just sit in silence i often have thoughts like this. what if i hadn't stayed home all the time when i was younger, what if i had not lost contact with childhood friend and so on. i don't really like having these thoughts but at times i'll admit it's interesting to think how certain things could have turned out differently.

These two movies kinda are about wat the OP is saying in different ways, I watched them when I was younger, so I thot about how my life would change if only I did sth differently.
I decided tat it doesn't matter cos I would never know since I wasn't living in a movie(as far as I knew.)
I would just live n let the chips fall where they may. Thinking of all the what ifs isn't productive, is wat I came to the conclusion. It's nice to think about but don't let it prevent you from living. Now I'm older but I still think it's better to live than to dwell on what might hv been. Just live your life.

Yeah, I see some random girl on the street and my mind gets full of all kinds of scenarios. Like "What if we dated" or "What if she is a psycho who would kill me" and bright stuff like that

No and Yes... I suppose its because I'm quite concise with my decision making, so I figure out multiple scenarios and variations of a decision im about to make from the most plausable to the mostly impossible which leads me to have no regrets..., its a thing I do automatically even without having to make a decision however it has no real impact me so it seems like a waste of time even though it's not that time cosuming takes up maybe 2mins to think about but it's not something I can really stop I've been doing it since 6,
That and I just don't miss people if ever and I can't miss what I didn't have...
Plus the alternative reality versions of me probably have all the other versions of my decisions covered, and making ones I would never consider, so I'm good.
