It's a well known symbol and legacy of racism. The mask is of Afro-Brazilian football player Pele.

Yeah that just chill comment basically ensured that her apology is never going to be taken seriously now, it's just a response after the backlash got way bigger than she expected.

I honestly didn't expect this from Sorn of all people, she studied in an international school and engages with I-fans all the time, she's basically CLC's brand ambassador and gateway for international fans to get into the group. Not a good look.

Yeah I follow her on instagram and was shocked when I saw the posts. Then I saw her trending and stayed clear because I knew exactly why. I don’t know if she herself apologised or Cube saw it and gave her a nudge, but her attitude over all this has been rubbish. I’d take a decent bet she has more solo fans than CLC due to her youtube channel and stuff, a good few of those are going to be doing some re-thinking.

when i read the title i instantly thought that they might be disbanding or cube is doing a terrible job at managing them and honestly it wouldn't surprise me as much as the actual situation does because sorn has always seemed to be one of those who know well enough not to do things like this. posting the "i'm not stupid" thing was also really unneccessary, she could have just acknowledged that she did wrong and apologised but now i doubt it's going to happen. i hope she realises her mistake before it somehow affects clc as a whole group because the other members have worked so hard this year, they deserve so much better.
