no, but seriously this year was pretty bland compared to other years in kpop. i feel like im just hearing the same shit over and over again and theres just nothing grabbing my attention except for a few songs.

I feel it was definitely bland if you look at the popular groups.
2019 was great however when it comes to nugus, especially rookies did very well imo and were the ones that kept giving me bop after bop.

But yea, there has been a lot of moments where I was bored because nothing came out.

right, tbh I feel like one of rookies that really stood out for me this year was txt, but even then, I feel like past years were just so much better. hopefully, the big groups pull their weight in 2020.

I liked most of 2019, but honestly, I think with all the comebacks the music got smushed together in my head. Maybe it's because I'm old and my ears are failing me. I liked a lot of the 2019 music, but not because there was something new about it. It's like when you eat lemon meringue pie because you like it, but it's just lemon meringue pie. It's not lemon peach meringue pie. I'm not sure if that's understandable lmao. (Please make lemon peach meringue pie and tell me if it's good) It was pretty usual for me. Not a bad year, but it didn't stand out. I liked the rookie groups of 2019. The big groups were okay, but I think they could've done a little better.

I've had lots of times where I had no music since 2017 tho...
But yeah.
I think a lot of the big groups went on tour, which is generally a boring period for fans...
(tho RIP YG fans cuz rumor has it all of their current active groups will tour in 2020)

yeah it's depressing, I'm just hoping that blackpink releasing their full album before they go on tour again. it seems that ygs trying to milk them for any type of money they can because of how bad 2019 was for yg as a company. but tbh I didn't mind when blackpink were on tour because it was better then them rotting in ygs dungeon all day and at least they got to interact with their fans.

True in Blinks case it's a good thing to have concerts.

i have the same question, I want her solo so bad. and i don't think I could handle another mini, yg has no excuse to not put out a full album. if he puts out another mini then it's just them being lazy and wanting to milk the shit out of blinks :/

It's so sad cuz I loved their music when they debuted, ended up waiting super long for AIIYL which I didn't like, Ddu Du Ddu Du wasn't my cup of tea either. I loved KTL but I'm tired of waiting

Yes. It's so sad cuz like me, a lot of people just quit cuz they're tired of waiting and just are not interested anymore...
I hope we get at least more than 1 cb

Everyone b-sides or almost were far more better than the title tracks last year. It was underwhelming overall but still I found some gems.
