so i have this "friend" and in 2017 when i discovered bts/kpop i was obsessed [only with bts though because i didnt know any other groups]. she kinda teased me for it but i didnt really mind it because it didnt seem that bad, but then last year i guess it kinda stopped. but now all a sudden its back, but literally today on instagram she started saying that she is in love with "jungkookie oppa and jiminie" and now keeps saying random korean phrases. its starting to get annoying,, i. and when i said "if you need any k-pop music recommendations just come to me because I'm k-pop god B-)" she just cussed me out even though I was i guess,, just playing around? IM SO CONFUSED DOES SHE LIKE KPOP OR NOT HUH. i havent dropped her yet though because her friends are scary as but luckily we don't go to the same school ig? and today i also bought a bts album and she was like "you stole my jiminie" because i got a jimin photocard.,,, I HAVE NO ONLINE FRIENDS EITHER EXCEPT FOR LIKE TWO BUT SHE WENT SOMEWHERE FAIEFAJF
i know i shouldn't really explain on a PUBLIC platform about her but i seriously have no other friends to go to

She really is going overboard! if she cussed you out for wanting to rec her kpop maybe she has gotten a bit too involved in the toxic kind of ARMY who love BTS, but hate all other kpop. And oh god random Korean phrases.... I think most likely she made friends with a bunch of toxic koreaboo ARMY and doesn't even realize the way she is acting is toxic af or does realize and doesn't care.

But I don't know her or the situation more than what you said, so that might not be the case! But from what you said, that is what it looks like to me!

She's a koreaboo, there just as bad as weeaboos. It's just a faze really and it seems like she's going into a second faze for whatever reason. What ever you can do is have pity for her. Remember unlike you this is something she'll eventually get over. It's okay some of us completely understand and are supporting of you. It'll be a difficult time if you continue to be friends with her, but I think you can do it
