The Oscar was so well deserved, I'm shook
For anyone who hasn't watched it I highly recommend it. At first I wasn't certain of it but once it got closer to the end it was just wow.

Yeah, I did. It was really crowded considering that the movie was released a few weeks ago and well, the visuals of the movie were really on point it definitely deserves all the awards

The directing is what makes this movie stands out imo, every scene was shot beautifully.

I watched it earlier, after it was nominated for Academy Award but before it won.
I liked it n it totally deserves all its accolades but I'm quite ambivalent about it overall, it just has some qualities I'm not bowled over by. Maybe the thriller/violent/climax parts of the film made it more receptive to masses/critics but it dint hit me the same way-I felt it was too action-y if tats a thing. It undercut , for me anyways, the theme of class differences.

But maybe tat made it wat it is to everybody else, so good for it.

I really liked, explored some great themes and made me think. There was lot of plot twists that I didn't expect at all, but that fit to the plot. And characters were pretty great.
