Another discography that I really like. I give a B+ to their discography. Nothing revolutionary but theirs songs are so sweet and theirs vocals are enchanting. They are my favorite nugu group.
The blue bird, April Story and Oh my mistake are the holy trinity. Three masterpieces in a row.
My favorite mini is probably Spring. A cute piece of art.
So here my top 10 :
10. Knock Knock
A cute song full of softness in their first mini-album.
9. Yes sir
This b-side is so unique. I understand why it became a title track in its Japanese version because this song screams Jpop and at the same a retro disco vibe. An unique mixt.
8. Mayday
Mayday is the title track in the album in which Yes sir is so it’s also retro, colorful, catchy and cute. Another excellent song. I am still wondering why they never made it.
7. Stand by me
A sad and nostalgic ballad about a girl who sees the one that she loves slowly leaving her. But at the same time the vocals are so sweet. April is everything.
6. Snowman
A beautiful Christmas song. Very underrated.
5. T.M.F.B (To my future boyfriend)
An hopeful song. I love the lyrics who tell the story of a girl who is imagining her future boyfriend and wants to address him a message. It’s not something that we can often see.
4. When I open yours eyes/ Open yours eyes
If you are doubting that April are the queens of good and emotional vocals then listen to this wonderful ballad.
3. April Story
April invinting you in their enchanting universe full of fairies tales. A masterpiece.
2. Oh ! My mistake
A poetic and catchy song about a girl who shows a lot of self-confidence while seducing her crush. Playful and refreshing. Another masterpiece.
1. The blue bird
The ultimate nostalgic song. I really cherish The Blue Bird from the bottom of my heart.
And you, what are yours favorite April songs ?
