That’s true. Last night I’ve read an article about Chinese government hiding the information, blaming the doctors for spreading ‘fake news’. They knew about the virus at least one month before everybody else and nobody said anything. Also those markets caused SARS almost 20 years ago. It wasn’t clear enough that those kind of markets are dangerous af? Why they were still open?
And here we are today, with over 20k deaths so far and a destroyed global economy.

We should blame every government for not taking action, not just the Chinese one.
Only people with a fever weren't able to leave China, yet people could leave whilst the virus was incubating in their body.
Had they closed the Chinese borders, all of this could've been avoided.
The consequences are now bigger than would've been if they had just shut down the border.
We might have to be quarantined for months now.
Now, lots of people in sectors like tourism risk to lose their job

We should blame every government For not taking this virus seriously. Here in America, our idiot president said everything was under control for months and constantly downplayed the virus.
now...Here we are today with America being one of the countries with the highest amount of cases in the world.

It's everyones fault as the virus has been around since at least December 1st however China didn't tell the WHO until December 31st and then came Lunar New Year where a reported 7 million people left Wuhan.

Throughout all of January though barely anything was being done for it in other countries allowing it to spread with people saying "it's just the flu bro".

Then we got into February where people were beginning to take it more seriously however the damage was already done and it left a lot of people thinking it just killed old people.

Now here we are in March where young people are being hospitalised as well and just yesterday there was a 21 year old female with no health conditions die from the virus.

The Chinese government is definitely to blame for a lot of it. Other governments to a lesser extent also. Had other countries been in China's place I feel that it may have been handled better though, at least countries with free speech.

I do feel like the Chinese government should’ve paid more attention to it but we do have to keep in mind that if they closed down borders just because of 5 cases with symptoms of a common cold, it would’ve caused more harm long term.

China’s government is shady though, idk if there’s any proof to back this up but I wouldn’t be surprised if they hid a couple deaths and cases

I remember, my mom and I talked about that doctor a lot since I heard his name around. I feel really sorry for him, and think he was so brave for speaking out and trying to warn people. He has a wife who is pregnant at the moment too, I can't imagine how devastated she is.
Of course regular citizens of China aren't at fault, it's their government above all and also other governments. And it's also just the attitude people had at the beginning of it.

They lost all the credibility with that, now we have a bunch of conspirationists popping everywhere.
