Which classes are you enjoying the most? Is it better online than in person (for those who are doing online)? Or do you prefer in person lectures?

My favorite right now is materials science, fluid mechanics are interesting too but it's a lot more difficult and materials science is so applicable to every aspect of life.

Also does anyone need help with homework because I need more validation that I'm not stupid

Replace a with 1 in the equation and b with 3, then find the answer

For example, if you had 3x+8y-5 when x=2 and y=6 it would be
(3)(2)+(8)(6)-6
6+48-6
and the answer is 48

Whenever you have variables and you know what the value of them is you can just replace them with the value thats given

The basic idea of fractions is you multiply the numerators (top number) and denominators (bottom number). In this case, you're going to get a fraction multiplied by a whole number. Remember though that whole numbers can be written as fractions as well.

Some examples:

The first one is the case where you're given 2 fractions to multiply. In the second case, you have a whole number and a fraction. The whole number can be written as a fraction where the fraction is the number over 1, which is equal to that whole number and you can use the same idea. Alternatively, you can also just multiply the whole number by the numerator since any number times 1 will equal that number. Dividing is the same as multiplying. However, when dividing you switch the numerator and denominator. This is called the reciprocal of the fraction. Then you multiply as shown above.

now I'm doing god knows what with conic sections and vectors none of my teachers assigned homework except my stupid pre-calc teacher and I'm going to kill him when we go back to school

so 3 x 4 = 12 divided by 2 = 6 - 3 = 3 + 5 x 3 = 15 divided by 3 = 5 so 3+5=8!

I liked marticies better
But I've taken linear algebra so row-echelon form at this point is nice and easy.
Now for more complicated matricies, its another story
