I'm as lost and confused as ever, but I've recently been thinking that my idea of love is all distorted.. the thing I've always craved the most in life yet could never receive.. I don't even know what it really is? when I was younger, I believed that love equals sacrifice which now sounds so sad, for a kid to believe such a thing.. so yeah, I still don't know about love, but at least life has taught me what isn't love..

I've always been wrong when going to the doctors for a check up.
I freak out for days and then it turns out its nothing lol.

I think I am wrong about life in general. I think I got things figured out about myself yet I continue to make messes and be chaotic no matter where I go

I thought humans are an advanced civilization, but now I think we're not even close to being at the fetus stage yet, in the grand scheme of things

For a long time I thought that, if I kept the problems I have to myself, not bothering anyone else with them and just suffering alone would be better. Oh boi, I didn't know how wrong I was. It was back in middle of 2018, I reached a point where I had so much stuff, thoughts and problems kept inside of me that I imploded

So yeah, I think that learning the fact that other people can help you with your problems and that you don't have to deal with them all by yourself was a life-saving achievement for me

and to answer the question, I was wrong about my family. I used to think of my mom especially as this abusive monster, but I realize without communication between us, we both had different views of each other. we're trying to mend our relationship now

i've been wrong about many things
it's an important part of learning
i would say one thing i've been wrong about
would be the value of cyncism
i used to be very cynical and thought that it was the better way to go about things
but the world is not nearly black and white enough to go about it that way
without real compassion
cynicism is more of a defense mechanism for not dealing with the ambiguity of life
