My understanding is that Soyeon hates labels like male, female, gay, black, korean, foreigner, girl crush, kpop, ballad, etc.
She always said she wants to create her own genre so I believe her in saying she wants to leave the interpretation open for all the listeners.
The gays are part of it, but not the only intended audience for its meaning (She can easily mean a devine being ora male perspective too with her song). Lets just follow her example and stop labeling humans. Just accept each other as living, loving human beings.

Yes, and she said people can interpret into anything however they like, and you can not deny that homosexuality is a very obvious thing in both the English and Korean versions.

Wouldn't we all love if we just accepted each other as 'living, loving human beings'? Yet, that is certainly not how the world works, especially for the LGBTQ community as they are killed everyday for loving the same-sex.

Ok, she said to interpret it into anything, but this is just plain ridiculous and this is a pure example of someone who will do anything for something not to have anything lgbtq in it. There is absolutely no mention or anything implying that they are guys in this comeback, whereas there is a lot of homosexuality implied.

It's a classic example of if this was a straight comeback, people wouldn't question it, but all of a sudden there are implying homosexuality and everyone questions it. when will people draw the line?

I think you misunderstand what I am trying to say. I specifically said that the gays are part of the audience and so a group that Soyeon saw as audience and adressat of her song. I simply did not want the song to be labelled as homosexual only. It is one totally viable, strong interpretation and I got no problems with it, but it is not the only possible interpretation. My first thought was that she implied that god is a woman, because the passage follows oh my god. Widen your horizon.

The most important step to get an equal social acceptance of every form of love, gender or race has to be to stop labelling people as such or as normal.

I think I did misunderstand you which I am sorry for.
I'm not saying it is homosexual only, but there are people that are saying it has no homosexuality in it and replacing it with something which is less obvious. When people do this, it implies that they will do all they can to avoid the LGBT content which is clearly in there.
I hope you understand what I mean.

I am a logical thinking person and as such I thought it implied as an obvious understanding and as part of my statement.
Noone should be excluded or condemned because of feelings like love.
In our society it is still important for their to be clear statements for groups that where stigmatized in the past or still are stigmatized and these statements are great.
I only hate it when certain people claim for their exclusive view to be the only possible or intended understanding/meaning of something that is up to interpretation.
As long as Soyeon does not clearly state a meaning and as an artist lets it open we should respect that and her original message.

That said If she'd change the meaning in the future and is now just too afraid to clearly state it as homosexual because of korean society I will be totally happy about it.

I think at the end of the day, Soyeon has literally stated that people can interpret it as anything, and she said that she respects all kinds of love.

I do agree with you when you said you hate when people claim an exclusive view to be the only possible outcome and I completely agree on that.

For me, I think it has LGBT, self-love, religious context all in one and of course I'm ok with people saying they don't think it has any LGBT content as long as they don't say what they think is the only outcome and are hating on others for it and the same goes for people who only think there is only LGBT content in it.

Like I've said before in another thread, I don't think Soyeon intentionally made this an LGBT comeback, but instead for what they were trying to do, they decided to add LGBT content in it.
