I'm actually a fake Londoner

Because I grew up not in the city, but in the beautiful English countryside! My home is the small surfing village of Croyde that is a nestled in the countryside right next to the Atlantic coastline in the South West of England in a county known as Devon.

One other thing that we're quite famous for other than our surfing beaches is Devon Cream Tea!

I'm from North Somerset, so not far from where you grew up!

Bristol is my go to city for shopping and recreation with friends, yet I've often been to so many beautiful beaches etc in Devon and Cornwall. South West England is the best part of the country.

I grew up exactly in the same place I am right now. I didn't move yet because it is a big city, we have the first Uni in the country and there was no point to go in another city. I graduated last year so who know, maybe I'll move one day

I grew up in Pai, Thailand until I was 5. A very small population (born there originally)

And then Fukuoka, Japan until I was 16 (I can barely speak it)

I grew up in rural Kansas.

Wide open space. Flat. Big sky.

Wheat. Cattle. Oil. Not a lot of people.

(People who aren't used to it often find it disconcerting. It's so empty and we have little tree cover or landacape obstruction.)

I find the solitude and open environment comforting.

You can see for miles in any direction.

My family moved a bit when I was kid, but most of my childhood I lived in countryside like of place.. even if it was close of city that part didn't have any shops and instead of tons of field, horses, chickens, it wasn't full on countryside, but very close. My family didn't have farm or farm animals though.

Wow, that looks beautiful. I guess there's no one place I grew up in. We're always moving around. I had to change schools like 5-6 times, so there was never a certain place which really felt like home. It's hard but on the bright side, you get to see a lot of places.
