I did, but with less sugar because I don't like my coffee sweet so it didn't turn out as creamy as the original

I don't see the point in it Like when u sip a drink u always get the liquid underneath the foam so ur essentially drinking milk with the tiniest bit of coffee foam unless u manage to stir it in enough, and in that case it's like what's the point in the foam if u just gotta stir it in?? and then at the end of the drink if u didn't stir it in ur gonna be left with some weird sugary bitter foam?? It just seems like a glorified glass of milk to me... The only reason I feel like it's gotten popular is because it looks fun to make and it looks interesting since it's like an inverted coffee, but as an actual drink it's just a glass of milk with the tiniest hint of coffee and bitter coffee bubbles when u get to the end...

Me and our exchange student tried it but we don't have instant coffee so we just ground up some beans even tho the instructions said not to

I haven't; but I have watched many of videos on how to do it from long before it got that popular. It should be made with instant coffee and the foam has a concentrated flavor. I'd do it out of curiosity; but I don't think is as good as described.

I used either too little sugar/water, or my instant coffee is too strong, but It wasn't bad. It tastes fine if you just drink the foam and then the milk after, but it tastes better if you mix it. If you use a recipe of 2 tbsp instant coffee, I'd half it because it was a lot of foam, and I had to give some to my roommate.
