Appreciation Fun fact about Pink fantasy and their company MyDoll (2 Viewers)

The former leader of Pink Fantasy Aini and Lee Sohee the CEO of MyDoll... used to be in the same group!
And not just one group!
They were together in TWO different idol groups!

They both debuted together in the group Kirots in 2006

And then they debuted AGAIN in 2015 in UNIZ! (I tried looking far and wide for an MV, only to fail...)

Then UNIZ presumably disbanded somewhere in 2016... some time went by... Sohee created MyDoll in 2018 and Aini was announced to be a member of Pink Fantasy the same year!

Wow! Interesting! She must be pretty young to be a CEO then? Also, was she already rich to build her own company or was the groups she in gave her a lot of money?

Both groups flopped and disbanded quite quickly and she is an 89-liner I think.
I've no idea where she got the money tbh... maybe a rich family?

I would have thought so.
I believe many idols come from rich families anyway, so it wouldn't surprise me if she came from a rich family or had her own company before the MyDolls company she has.
Also, it's great to have a female CEO in a Kpop company for a change.

Honestly seeing her background, I am really not surprised that Pink fantasy are really well treated.
Most kpop company CEO's didn't start as idols and the ones that did were popular ones.

Tbh to me it seems like she just got really done with the situation in korea with idols and companies, said fuck it and made her own.

Yeah I know what you mean, I mean, JYP was an idol before his company although he still performs even now but like you said, idols like him were already popular.

Her stage name is Chie, right? I hope that Pink Fantasy will grow, then maybe she will debut a second group.
Do you think she will ever debut a boy Group? Maybe later? If so, how different do you think they will be to Pink Fantasy?

Those girls will either debut in a new group OR....

A lot of Pink fantasy fans think that since Pink fantasy is heavily inspired from jpop groups and since the MyDoll girls are often referred to together with Pink Fantasy and are talked about similarly, that MyDoll girls might debut as a new generation in Pink Fantasy.

One way or another, they have trainees currently, multiple of them Japanese.

A lot of Pink fantasy fans think that since Pink fantasy is heavily inspired from jpop groups and since the MyDoll girls are often referred to together with Pink Fantasy and are talked about similarly, that MyDoll girls might debut as a new generation in Pink Fantasy.

So, like they might become similar to the 48 groups, 46 groups and NCT groups?

the generations system is very common in jpop and the 48/46 groups are the very extreme of the system.
Most groups with generations don't actually have more members than your usual kpop group.

It just means... every now and again they get new members and every now and again members will leave if they want to.
But these are just theories, there are currently 9 MyDoll girls (4 of them Japanese), so they could very well debut in their own group.

Another fun fact... Heesun, the former Maknae of Pink fantasy who left the group last year due to depression and anxiety... is still a part of the MyDoll girls and actually like... active with them.

I see, sounds interesting! I actually downloaded all their music on spotify, so I am going to keep an eye on them.
