Someone is using my Spotify premium account (1 Viewer)

[Willow]

I am not sure but it is pretty weird that random songs are playing ... and were played from yesterday

[Willow]

Decided to change my password

[Suzy]

The same thing happened to me! The weird thing is, it first started when I wasn't listening to anything so I would open the app the next morning to find a bunch of random songs in my 'Recently Played' section. I thought it was just a glitch so I ignored it but then they started using it while I was using the app too so the song I was listening to would randomly change to whatever they were listening to. It was seriously creepy. I changed my password and that solved the problem but it's so weird that people can just hack your Spotify account and listen to music...

Happened to me last year as well. Changed my password and clicked "Log out of all devices". Solved it for me.

I will try this because changing the password didn’t solve the problem

It isn't playing now so I guess it stopped

Actually I think it was that user that hacked my account. Only his playlists were playing

[Shimmer]

Well uhh, lucky for me I don't have a Spotify account. On a side note are peeps so desperate to get streams to the point they are hiring hackers? Why not use the money to hire a better producer or sth

[Willow]

Well uhh, lucky for me I don't have a Spotify account. On a side note my theory of this happening would be someone hired some hackers to hack into random accounts so that their songs would get streams. Or someone just wants to play a prank idk 😂

I have no idea why that happened but now it won't happen again hopefully
