TNT is a Chinese boy group that has covered NCT a lot in the past. They are quite known in China.
They recently covered Kick It. Today, their company posted that they will sell photobooks and people were not happy.
I just want to say that NCT does not own the kung fu concept but the backgrounds look similar to their MV, the clothes, the color scheme used, ...
When people noticed this, their company has deleted the goods from their website but have not issued an apology.
This isn't the first time that they copied NCT according to some.
NCT has had issues with plagiarism for a few years now but of course SM never did anything about this.
Let's not forget the multiple yearbook copies there are floating around
(I think they are TNT)
Also, remember when there was a Chinese boy group (YH Boys) mentored by Tao that copied "My First My Last"?
Of course there's nothing wrong with having the same outfits but they had the hair and everything...
They copied Cherry Bomb as well
This isn't a China-only issue. Cherry Bullet and The Boyz have also come under fire for "getting inspired" by NCT. Cravity as well raised questions as many people pointed out the similar choreography (tho they only "copied" one part of the choreo, but their MV is very similar to EXO).
(The pictures about Cherry Bullet's articles have been deleted so if you find some comparisons, feel free to share them.)
I found a summary from a netizen, many of which I didn't even know about and thus don't have enough knowledge off to find
SM just doesn't care about NCT. People make money off their concepts and it's sad. Usually, many of these claims are too exaggerated (like 100% getting dragged cuz they wore denims and sit on the ground and BTS did the same), but you can't deny that many of these are just too similar to "accidentally" copy.
I remember my answer to Cherry Bullet's controversy:
NOTE: Please do understand that it is not my intention to drag any groups or artists mentioned in the thread. All I wanna do is drag the companies of these artists for their blatant copying and show how SM is lazy, even towards their "beloved" boy group.

Limitless MV direction technique, TheBoyz' uniforms and concept with "My first and last", Chinese male idols photoshoot,Cherry Bomb, with their characters, etc. Chinese girl group, Cherry bullet, copying the Empathy version's names, The Boys year book, Chinese female idols, male idols, The Boyz copying NCT mentary, The Boyz, poetic beauty, clothing company advertisement.

People love to call NCT flops but holy hell so many people "were inspired" by them. Meanwhile SM just watches.I get that you want cherries to be your theme but you can do so many other things with cherries that isn't "similar" to Cherry Bomb
