i get so confused because this gets thrown around in the fandom alot (i took chorus,,bc of corona we never really touched this subject and my other teache had no idea what he was doing) and i feel like its super grey

i only ask because i want to define my tone/color, i like the feminine, delicate, airy, sweet vocals like

and Rose's

ik its not v healthy as far as Roses goes but i like the girly feminine voice cus doing the tough voice actually hurts to sing time to time

I am not sure either, given that term escapes me as well.
in terms of tone and vocals though, I like them sugary sweet and well ranged.

I am just scratching my head at the op. But then again, I am not an expert in musical togetherness.

I'm pretty sure the same thing and I think most people use them interchangeably. What they compare is tone and technique. Tone is colour, so how they sound (unique, soft, deep etc.) whereas technique is used to measure the actual skill (do they strain, are they bad/average/good singers, etc.). So one is how they sound and the other is how they sing.

honestly people tend to use then interchangeably. they all mostly mean the same thing: the sound of a voice.

It gets bit confusing sometimes what is considered technique, style, color and tone

But i'd say technique and style is something you learn when color and tone is more of natural aspects of the voice.

Now, I'm not singer myself but I tend to like darker and lower tones compared to brighter tones. I don't rly like high pitched tones as they tend to sound weak to me- this is sometimes problem for me with kpop and jpop artists- some technically great and celebrated artist sound weak and/or boring to me.

These two are my favorite vocalist over all, I could listen to them endlessly:
