But I'm scared YG is going to have Yedam overshadow the rest of the group by a long shot.
We already knew Yedam is YG's favourite from Treasure box and from yedam having a LOT of lines in Going Crazy....

I'm happy for Yedam, but scared about what this will mean for the rest of the group.

YGE surely knows how to put fandoms against each other. They did the same with Winner/Ikon, 2ne1/Blackpink and now Blackpink vs Treasure, we all know they just can't promote 2 groups at the same time. The best luck to everyone, they'll need it...

I'm not concerned about Yedam overshadowing the other group members. When Winner debuted, Seungyoon had his solo debut first with 3 songs (only one song was actually promoted on music shows), but Mino ended up the member standing out the most and is still the only Winner member with a full length solo album.

I'm not expecting these prereleases from Blackpink to be promoted much anyway, it'll probably just be a date teaser and then the release.

This for me is already blatant favoritism but what's new with YG lol. Don't get me wrong I do like Yedam since back when he sang that Shawn Mendes song in Stray Kids's survival show, so it was a given that he'd get a solo sooner or late, but never in the world would I expected for him to get a solo before the group debuts. I just hope they give the others other opportunities as well instead of letting them stay in Yedam's shadow if his solo will do really really well.
