Yep, i think it's because it's based on korean webtoon so they wanted kpop group to be involved too. And since it's Crunchyroll x Webtoon project which is more aimed to west and Korea than Japan's market it makes sense ^^ (not that kpop groups haven't been in anime ops/eds before, but its still quite rare)

yes, they omit certain details on the backstory of some characters. It's something minor that won't affect the storyline but takes depth from the characters, if you ask me.

So I thought. It's unfortunately, cause I think there isn't lot of throw away characters and lot of them are intriguing. But they have just 13 eps planned for first season and idk if they will do second so I guess they have to be compact.

You're right. One of the best things of ToG is the character design and how SIU (the author) takes enough time to develop all of them. Of course not all have the same relevancy but even the side characters have something intersting to offer, that's why I've been very cautious while watching, the source material it's not easy to approach unless you have enough time and resources.

I think they are doing pretty good job as anime-only, like it hasn't been feeling lacking. Though I get that webtoon readers who know how much stuff characters have and feel like some parts were left out that shouldn't been.
