Chenle
+ a compilation
+ a baby chenle just being made out of pure talent
First video - can hear a little accuracy discrepancies. Hand’s a little flat. Very good sound and dynamics, good technique. Skill level for age very good, assuming he’s about 13.
Second video - Hand is still a little flat. He shouldn’t just wave back and forth when playing piano; it tends to make the music sound like his has a constant pulse. If he’s gotta move, I recommend moving in shallow circles. Good technique and fingering.
Third video - Hand’s a little flat
00:00 - 00:50
Keeps his elbows tucked in; elbows should stay extended out from torso more. Gets a little distracted when he looks away. Either focus on the piece, or make sure you have all the keys and fingering memorized.
00:51 - 01:41
I can’t see his hands, but I assume it’s still a little flat. Elbows move more, but they should already be in the position away from the torso; you should have to move them away. You bring them in if you have to. Very good at the legato.
01:42 - 02:42
Wrists should not bounce up and down that much or pick up; they should stay level with the keyboard. Needs a little more dynamic variety. Fingering and technique good; he doesn’t lift his hands too high off the keyboard. Very accurate, nice scales.
02:43 - 04:14
Fourth video - Wrists are moving too much up and down; should keep them level. Elbows are too tucked in. Better at focusing on keys and singing, but his singing gets too breathy when he’s at a harder part in the song. For his age, quite good. Hands have a better shape than the previous videos. Shouldn’t move his head that much when playing the piano; if he must move his head, not that sharp.
