Martial law is the imposition of direct military control of normal civil functions or suspension of civil law by a government, especially in response to a temporary emergency where civil forces are overwhelmed, or in an occupied territory


this is absolutely crazy. seriously fuck trump, he's trying to silence Americans because he doesn't like that we're finally standing up to the bullshit police force. he's a scummy president.

for all of my fellow Americans, please stay safe, this country is in shambles right now... and the fact that martial law might be imposed is extremely scary.

you never know what that Cheeto could do. he tried to impose a Muslim ban back in 2016 and for a while, it actually worked as we've seen stories of people not being allowed to enter the country in they're from specific middle eastern countries.

I can't believe that he went in and found such an old law that hasn't been put in place for literal centuries just to stop the black lives matter movement. and the fact that he probably will put it into place is terrible. the crazy thing is that there have been worse riots and protests in the past and no president has ever put this law into place. Donald Trump is literally looking for any chance to be a dictator. turning the military on your people for expressing their right to protest is what dictators do.
