A long Time ago in a Galaxy far, far away ...

I get that I'm not one of the event participants; but I have been waiting for this topic and nobody has stepped forward. John Williams composed some of my favourite film music scores for this franchise. The Battle of the Heroes is possibly my absolute favourite, closely followed by the Duel of the Fates.





And I also love the Opening suite.

Duel of the fates and the Imperial march are my favs, John Williams is a musical genius indeed.
I know this is from the show and not made by Williams but I really like the Mandalorian's main theme.

That's good. I'm not watching the Mandalorian (no Disney+ subscription); so I had not heard it. It's different from what Williams would presumably had done.

I really do enjoy the music in Star Wars, Fallen Order also had a really good soundtrack that i thoroughly enjoyed.
Thing is, graduation party, we had to choose a song to go into the party with, essentially where you walk in with you partner or partners if you were a madlad like I was - the song we chose was Darth Vaders theme, the imperial march. Was pretty awesome truth be told, quite memorable, especially since it was a mega squable over choosing the song.

I see why the Imperial March would be a favourite. I liked The Emperor's Theme better, however, because it's very dark. It might be found boring by most people however.

The love themes. Han and Leia vs Anakin and Padme. I prefer Anakin and Padme.

When Return of the Jedi was released on 1983; the scene on Jabba's palace when Oola is fed to the Rancor featured a song called Lapti Nek that sounded quite alien. When the "Special Edition" was released, the scene happened to have been remade with another song called Jedi Rocks. I don't have any preference for any of them other than I believe the original song shouldn't have been replaced. It caused much unrest among the fans. Which one do you prefer?

The franchise features some of the all time best music scores in history imo.

And I just realized that the imperial march has been mentioned repeatedly; but nobody has posted it. LOL
