My Top 4 GG Releases of 2020 so far (1 Viewer)

As a former BG only stan I think it's just fair to rank my top 4 GG releases of this year so far.
I'm not counting only the title, but the whole album.

1. Dreamcatcher - Dystopia: The Tree of Language

Hands down the best GG album of the year so far.
It's varied in sound but there's a "red thread", as we like to say in Germany, which makes the whole album still cohesive.
Vocals are top notch. Raps are top notch. Instrumentals are top notch.
No unnecessary vocal effect, if there are any they are used in a stylish way.

2. Oh My Girl - NONSTOP

The album was like what you'd expect going from spring into summer, but a thousand times better.
Every track feels refreshing and new.
The vocals are superb. especially in b-side "Krystal".
Dolphin is probably my favorite b-side from anyone on this list. Reason why it's #2 instead of #1
is because Flower Tea shouldn't have been released, without it the album would've fit together perfectly.

3. ELRIS - JACKPOT

I never expected this from ELRIS, while not too much into the title (i still like it) but the b-sides really excel at everything.
They are catchy with amazing vocal support.
The instrumentals are probably my favorite part of all the songs tho.
The producers did a great job at keeping the whole album fun to listen through

4. (G)I-DLE - I Trust

This is their best album yet. This is what I waited for since their debut.
I expected the title to be much darker but was surprised by the much lighter sound.
The concept was amazing and Minnie really shined throughout this album.
I'm just so in love with her vocals.
Luv U and Maybe are also hella catchy and I have listened to them on repeat for a long time.

Why not Top 5? Because from the 5th place onwards there are multiple groups at the same rank. The four before I could clearly and easily rank with each other.
I do wanna give 2 special mentions though.

Spoiler: Special Mention #1

After a long wait APRIL came back with this banger. It's definitely the highlight of the album.
Not too big of a fan of the b-sides but this title slaps hard and is their best title yet.

Spoiler: Special Mention #2

DreamNote also took a year to release this bop, and similarly to APRIl, this title is their best and the highlight of the album.
The b-sides aren't really my taste but I'm glad the company decided to give them a different concept from their almost too overbearingly cute concept.

LMAO I still like them, but in this specific comeback, other than the title, I didn't like it that much
Deja Vu is also one of my least fav titles from them, it's two letdowns in a row for me, so I'm not that much into them lately
