Why there's no Fanwars ? (1 Viewer)

Not that i want to see some
but i'm curious because KPS is made of people who belongs to different Fandom
some of us already have experience with others forums etc....

and it's the first time that i see a forum where i don't see a fanwars or people jumping on other to attack them when they don't like their opinions

what explain that KPS is so peaceful ?

Because most of us realized they are too stressful i think

We see people everyday complaining about the same fandoms

At one point we notice "I'll spam cats instead, it's better for my skin"

There's a good side to kpop tho, but people prefer their right to "discuss"

part of it has to do with starting out as and continuing largely as an insular group of people who have a common mentality of wanting a kpop forum without toxicity
now some people do indeed see that differently but most of those so far understand how to be peaceful and respectful

well its stiil early in forum, not so many members and those who are members haven't shown themselves to have agressive or obsessive tendencies when it comes to kpop and their bias...
but lets not jinx it shall we.

Like others have said, origins, moderation, just general atmosphere.
its funny because a some trigger happy users, myself included, are here and havent popped off yet

Even my opinion on TxT's recent teasers that was not exactly praising (I showed my bitter and jealous side for a bit, but not towards the artist themselves) and expected people to be upset with me. But instead I was met with respectful responses and people respecting and hearing my thoughts but not condemning me. It was really nice.

I'm really pleased that, thus far, we all have one goal (generally) and don't want to stray from it. I'm glad this is a place where I can have differing opinions, views, or thoughts, and not have people look at me differently when I say them.

Makes me really happy!

I think we, being the majority users who came from elsewhere, are just tired of fights and useless discussions.

It's such a healthy and fun environment, I hope it continues like this for a long time.

I don't know about others but I'll speak for myself and why I have decided not to be toxic and tone it down seven notches. First of all, I consider myself one of the toxic users on AKP. I made threads for the sole purpose of initiating fanwars, partly because people "respected" me for it and partly because my normal discussion threads flopped.

Here, however, people want to discuss and people want to engage. Even if your thread doesn't receive the most replies, it's replies are still related and mature. Nobody's trying trigger anybody here. The environment is peaceful. AKP was just people trying to piss other people off just to get "national hit threads" as we called it. Here, everyone just seems to be happy stanning their bias and sharing their opinion on whatever.

Of course, the amazing staff contributes to the peaceful environment as well.

I really like it here and hope all of yall will continue to be active :)
