Anime watch club- what will we watch? (1 Viewer)

1. Currently I'm looking at Dorohedoro the most. Having said that, I'll be busy af with marathoning Attack on Titan next few days, so I can only join if it's like 1 episode a day. In that case I'm cool with action, comedy, horror, sci-fi, fantasy.

2. Not interested in shoujo, high school, slice of life (I like slice of life, but something I watch myself at my own pace lol).

3. I've mostly seen lot of older anime, not enough new lol. So I'll be open to most I guess. Even Vinland Saga I've only seen like 2 episodes so far.

4. 1 episode per day is fine, got to handle a lot more stuff rn (Attack on Titan, a fantasy novel I'm going through, Goblin Kdrama)

5. Hmm I don't mind Netflix Party or Kosmi but arranging it for more people would be a pain in the ass, so everyone watching on their own on a given date would be better I think. Although 2-3 people on Netflix Party or up to 5 on Kosmi is doable I guess, but that's up to them.

What I got down so far for the Anime:

- 12-26 episodes.
- Genre: Supernatural and/or action, not romance or slice of life or sports (as main genre)
- Not much horror, gore and ecchi.
- Somewhat new
- Prefarably not sth someone has seen before

- Suggestions so far: Grand Blue, Dorohedoro, Kakegurui, Devilman cry baby, Carol & Tuesday, Haikyuu!!, DanMachi, A Certain Magical Index, March Comes in like a Lion, Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress.

From these Dorohedoro, Devilman Cry Baby and Kabaneri are horror with some gore + nudity. March Come in Like a Lion and Carol & Tuesday are more of slice of lifes and dramas. Grand Blue is apparently also slice of life with some nudity. Haikyuu!! is sports. Danmachi has ecchi even if it's not one of genres for it so maybe not that either?

I think Kakegurui and A Certain Magical Index are now the strongest from what already mentioned, don't think they have anything people didn't want? Well, technically Kakegurui has some ecchi elements, but...

Please suggest more ones that would fit to above if you can, so we could in the end make a poll about it and vote. If there won't be more suggestions or plp rly want to watch something already suggested we can do that too :)

Then to the timing thing, would something like this be ok?:
It seems like some want to binge watch and some just watch 1 episode a day? Personally, for me binge watching can be harder as I have full time job. But we could watch like 4 episodes every 3 days so plp could decide if they want to watch all 4 in row or watch them in different days?

I would start the actual watching next week too, maybe in monday even or do you want it to pushed to friday instead?

Going through Crunchyroll this time, I have following suggestions:

- Bungou Stray Dogs (12 eps): Bungou Stray Dogs
- Konosuba (10 eps): Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!
- Log Horizon (25 eps): Log Horizon
- Re:zero (25 eps): Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu

Some others that are in Netflix:
- Erased
- Guilty Crown

Tbh, it's surprisingly difficult to think of anime for big group xd

Either Kakegurui or A certain Magic Index would be fine for me. I think 3 ep. is good as well.

I think Bungou Stray Dogs would be pretty good as well. It's both into action and Supernatural, it is a bit gory at parts, due to the supernatural villain's powers, but apart from that its held more lightly, it's like a dark action comedy type of anime

Yea, it's bit hard to find anime that has no ecchi moments and no bloody violence that isn't slice of life or romance

I'm trying to look for things plp haven't seen yet so that's why I'm not as into including some choices ^^;

Seems like the time plan was ok with everyone. If we are going to watch 12 eps show, i think doing 3 eps for session is best, so 4 discussions in total. IF we are watching 24 eps then 4 eps make sense- 6 discussions.

Probably we will be watching more than one show, but i was thinking we would have first date next week

I was thinking firday, so thread would go up friday and plp would have watched 3 episodes before that. But if we wait until monday for first one, are u ok with first thread getting up monday or is it still too early. I don't want to wait for too long either cause plp might forget this then

Yea you can do that too, you just have to binge more ^^

Well i'm thinking 3 days for 3 eps, so if friday is first then second one is monday. But I guess starting at sunday is also ok, so there is full weekend to watch the first ones and then having second discussion at wednesday.

Alright that works for me. I won't have anything to do after my exam anyway since the semester ends so I can binge watch no problem. :)
